Special Education
Special Education Overview
Special education refers to a range of educational and social services provided by the public school system and other educational institutions to individuals with disabilities who are between birth and 21 years of age.
Special education is designed to ensure that students with disabilities are provided with an environment that allows them to be educated effectively.
If you have concerns regarding your student's academic progress, please contact your student's case manager or call the school at (909) 388-6419.

Best Buddies
Pacific High School’s Special Education Department also has a club on campus called Best Buddies. The goal of Best Buddies is to create and foster friendships and develop and support leadership opportunities for people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities. We have a large number of general education students that sign up each year to visit our students once a week during lunch or before school during late start. The goal is for them to interact with our students, build friendships and break social barriers. Our club has been successful in bringing awareness to our campus regarding students with disabilities, and we have many general education students who develop an interest in pursuing careers in the area of special education. Meetings are held during lunchtime on Wednesdays in classroom SE-4.
Pacific also has a classroom business for our moderate to severe special education students designed to provide vocational skills and promote independence called Brewing Independence.
