Kristina Olsen Mrs. Oslen, the librarian

Hello, Pirates!
I am excited to be coming aboard. It has been a dream of mine to be a librarian, and I have been taking classes to get my MLIS (Masters of Library and Information Science) since January of 2018. Before becoming the Pacific High School Librarian, I was an English teacher with the district for 14 years. I've always loved books, and my favorite part of my job as an English teacher was getting to share stories with my students.
My hope is to make the library a place where all students feel welcome. I am here to help. If you want to learn something new, find your new favorite book, get homework done, or socialize with your classmates, feel free to come into the library before school, after school, or at lunch. If you need to come during class time, get your teacher to write you a pass, and, as long as the library is available, you will be welcomed.
As a side note, if you have something that hasn't been returned to the library, for whatever reason, please bring it back. I will thank you for returning it, not be upset that it wasn't returned on time. If you lost something, and you don't want to pay for it with cash, you can work in the library to pay off your debt.
